Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw today (May 30), welcomed newly appointed Serbian Ambassador to Jamaica, His Excellency, Danilo Pantovic.

Minister Shaw and Ambassador Pantovic held discussions on the possibilities for cooperation particularly in the processed food industry. Currently, Serbia has no trading relationship with Jamaica.

Among the matters discussed were the strengthening of relations between Jamaica and Serbia through the development of new opportunities in the manufacturing, services and agricultural sectors.

With the appointment of a new Chinese ambassador to Jamaica, Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw is pledging his Ministry’s continued support for the Government and people of China.
