Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw, speaking at the launch of the ISO Quality Systems Implementation Technicians (Q-SITs/Junior Consultants) Training Course, at the Management Institute for National Development (MIND), Kingston, on Monday, June 18. The Strategic Public Sector Transformation Project of the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries (MICAF) supports the implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management System in several agencies of Government. In support of the implementation of ISO 9001 in these agencies, 25 junior consultants are being contracted as ISO Q-SITs and will go through an intensive two-week training programme, after which they will be placed in agencies across Government. Training commenced on June 18, 2018.
