KINGSTON, April 17 (JIS):

Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Pearnel Charles Jr. says sustaining increased banana and plantain production is critical to the ‘Grow Smart, Eat Smart’ initiative.

Farmers Earn Over $330 Million in 2022 Via Alex Platform

KINGSTON, April 17 (JIS):

Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Pearnel Charles Jr. has disclosed that farmers have earned over $330 million in revenue, for 2022, via the Agri-Linkages Exchange (ALEX) platform.

He further disclosed that since January 2023, farmers have so far earned over $100 million.

Mr. Charles Jr. was speaking at the Agro-Investment Corporation’s Market Linkage Networking Seminar held on April 13, at the Jamaica Conference Centre in Kingston.
