Up to $3 Million in Fines for Catching Lobster During Closed Season

KINGSTON, March 15 (JIS):

Fishers are being warned against catching lobsters during the closed season, which begins on April 1 and runs until June 30.

The closed season is to give lobsters a chance to breed and repopulate, and during the period, it is illegal to catch, buy or sell spiny lobsters.
