Jamaica joins 150 countries in celebrating World Food Day on October 16, 2021. This is an initiative by the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations that creates a global and collective effort to raise awareness and highlight actions to combat hunger and ensure food security. This year it is being celebrated under the theme, "Our actions are our future- Better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life".
